Automated Guided Vehicle advantages: Benefits that reshape material handling
AGV systems keep materials moving without unnecessary stops or inconsistencies, using onboard sensors and guidance technologies such as line-following, cameras, or markers placed across the facility. Once set up, they transport materials automatically along pre-defined routes, following a line of tape, stop at programmed locations, and support the overall flow of production without the need for constant operator input.

Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV): Meaning, types, and the future of logistics
An Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a self‑propelled transport vehicle that moves materials inside factories, warehouses, hospitals, or distribution centers without a human driver. It uses navigation tools — such as magnets, wires, lasers, or sensors — to follow fixed or semi-fixed paths. AGVs carry pallets, racks, containers or other heavy loads.

AMRs in warehouses: Smarter logistics through automation
Warehouses today rely on AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) to move materials more efficiently and reduce unnecessary manual handling. These robots use built-in navigation systems to travel through the facility on their own, safely avoiding obstacles and following planned routes. By taking over routine transport tasks, they help minimize downtime, reduce physical strain for workers, and free up time for the operators.

FlexQube receives pilot order for AMR system from leading European retail company
FlexQube has received a pilot order worth 1.1–2 MSEK for its Navigator Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) system from one of Europe’s largest fashion and retail companies. The 12-week pilot will take place in Q2 2026 at a customer facility in Poland, with potential for broader rollout across Europe and globally.

FlexQube receives follow-up order worth 1.3 MUSD from U.S. customer
FlexQube has received a new follow-up order from the same U.S. customer, one of the world’s largest e-commerce and logistics companies based in the United States, that placed several pilot orders during the autumn. The new order amounts to approximately 1.3 MUSD and will be delivered during the first quarter of 2026. Total order amount for this pilot program now exceeds 3 MUSD.

AGV vs. AMR – which solution fits your business?
In the race toward smarter productions, automation has become a must-have for boosting efficiency. Two of the most common solutions in that field are, without a doubt, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).

FlexQube receives pilot order for robotics project in the USA
FlexQube has received a new pilot order regarding the company’s Navigator AMR solution from an existing customer in the USA. The order amounts to approximately USD 270 000. The customer is the same one that in August 2025 placed a first pilot order in another project, but this order concerns a different division within the company. The pilot involves a specially adapted load carrier for the customer’s existing cart fleet, integrated with FlexQube’s Navigator AMR.

FlexQube is granted key patent in Europe for its unique AMR system
The granted patent is closely linked to customers' need to automate many different flows within material handling. The patent covers a non-load-bearing AMR that can autonomously connect, via a standardized interface, to various types of functional load carriers designed to solve different material handling applications.
